Chapel Hill museum, Chapel Hill, Orange co8unty

Built in 1968, the Chapel Hill Museum was founded to exhibit the history of Chapel Hill. The museum has exhibits about James Taylor, and a history of Franklin Streets called Meet Me on Franklin Street. This exhibit is set in a 1940’s scene, and as you walk down it, you meet various characters and see artifacts from Chapel Hill’s history. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 to 4, and Sunday from 1 to 4 PM.
